KINT

Will NDT still be performed the same way in 10 years or will modern digital technology have its impact?

This is the main question of the coming KINT symposium and workshop taking place in Utrecht the 20 and 21 June 2017.

At this occasion, presentations will be made by all major supplier of dedicated NDT simulation services.

In 2016, EXTENDE participated to the benchmark case proposed by KINT and RWS, on the modelling of the Phased-Array UT Sector-Scan inspection of a T-Weld profile. Different computations were performed: Beam mapping and inspection simulations with 4 different defects

The main results of this test case as well as an overview of the CIVA capabilities will be presented in this congress on modelling & Simulation.
